Generation Z strives for authenticity, wellness, sustainability, and social causes. Stronger Than is an athletic wear collection for Generation Z girls from ages 16-25. Inspired by the 1970’s colors and social movements and the active lifestyle that Gen Z lives. Similar to the social causes members of Gen Z are participating in today, the 1970’s were full of social movements to allow individuals to be their authentic self. These include the gay rights march and women’s liberation rights, such as Title IX, Roe vs. Wade, and National Women’s Political Caucus. These movements were for individuals to become their most authentic self and to not be put into one stereotype. Generation Z has embraced that belief and strives even more so to push how identities are defined. Stronger Than is a sustainable collection made from bamboo jersey, recycled polyester, and organic cotton and when the consumer is done with it can return the garments to be responsibly recycled.
